MOBILE PHONES

Will my mobile phone work on Cocos Keeling Islands?

The Cocos mobile network is not part of any of the mainland mobile networks and currently does not have any roaming arrangements with them.

There is however an option to hire a mobile phone that is already connected to our unique GSM network and the ability to call forward your mainland mobile to your hired Cocos mobile phone.  Please
EMAIL our office to pre-book your mobile phone.  Alternatively, you can purchase Telstra phone cards that can be used in one of the two public phone boxes on West Island.

Please see our Services tab for further information on mobile phones, or click on our Resources tab for call forwarding instructions.
